At Fairway, we love learning beyond the classroom and going on exciting adventures! Our class trips are carefully linked to the topics children are studying, helping to bring their learning to life through real-world experiences. Alongside these curriculum-linked visits, we also provide a wide range of additional opportunities that inspire curiosity, build confidence and create lasting memories.
Just this year, our children have enjoyed an incredible range of experiences. Nursery and Reception visited the zoo, Year 1 took in the sights from the London Eye, Year 2 explored the Tower of London, Year 3 discovered fascinating exhibits at the Natural History Museum, Year 4 enjoyed the challenge of bell boating, Year 5 visited the Temple, and Year 6 embarked on their exciting residential trip to PGL at Bawdsey Manor.
The adventures do not stop there! We love creating extra opportunities for our children, whether that is taking our Dance Squad to watch a professional ballet performance, enjoying our annual Year 5 camping experience, or providing a host of enrichment activities throughout the year. At Fairway, we believe that some of the most powerful learning happens when children step outside the classroom and experience the world around them.
