Fairway School

At Fairway, we believe that education is about more than academic success. It is about helping every child develop the character, values and personal qualities they need to thrive both in school and beyond. Our Fairway Journey sets out the expectations and aspirations we have for pupils at each stage of their primary education. 

Beginning with a strong sense of Belonging in Reception, children gradually develop Independence, Confidence, Responsibility, Contribution, Leadership and ultimately leave Year 6 ready to create a positive Legacy. Each stage builds on the last, supporting pupils to grow as learners, citizens, leaders and individuals.

These year group expectations help to shape our school culture and provide a shared understanding of the personal development journey that every child undertakes during their time at Fairway. They reflect our commitment to nurturing confident, resilient and compassionate young people who are prepared for their next chapter and ready to make a positive difference in the world.
