Fairway School

Our children have swimming lessons for one term in Y4, Y5 & Y6.

• Swimming lessons are held on a Monday afternoon at Northway School Pool.
• Lessons are 45 minutes long and run by qualified swimming instructors.
• Pupils change in single-sex changing rooms and the lesson is observed by Fairway staff.
• There is no school uniform for swimming but pupils are asked to wear sensible costumes (not bikinis) and trunks. Swimming hats are compulsory and goggles are optional. Swimming kits should be taken home after each lesson.

We ask parents and carers for a financial contribution towards swimming and provide support for those who are unable to pay.
